Instructions on how to participate in a GHeL study group

1. Sign into www.globalhealthlearning.org

2. Go to Community Home (in the top right hand side of the website).

3. Select mHealth Basics Study Group from the drop down menu and then click on Go To Group.

4. Now, you are on the mHealth Basics Study Group landing page. From here, you will see the posts started by the facilitators, Nandini Jayarajan and Trinity Zan, as well as any posts by your fellow participants contributed. All you need to do is click on the Discussion Title.

5. Once you click on a Discussion Title, you can contribute to the discussion thread by clicking on Add new comment.

6. You can respond directly to another participants comment by clicking Reply under their post.

7. Type in your response and then click Save and your contribution will be added to the Discussion Thread that the course author started. You can also feel free to add/share resources/reports that you have access to with the study group participants by clicking on Choose File and Upload. Again, you must click on Save in order for this information to be shared with the course author and the other participants.

Some tips:

  • Always try to keep your comment related to the particular subject under discussion.
  • Messages should be in English only. At this time, we are not able to translate from or to other languages.
  • All submissions will be identified by email address.
  • Messages should not exceed four paragraphs or about 500 words.

LOST / FORGOTTEN PASSWORD

If you forget your password to the Global Health eLearning Center, you can give yourself a new password any time. Go to the sign in page at http://www.globalhealthlearning.org/user/login, click on Request New Password and follow the instructions.
